On a recent visit to BG in Rockville I decided to give their Khao Soi another try. It was absolutely killer, amazing flavor and as close to perfect in this dish as it gets. Some Thai restaurants among the several that are competing now in the area use actual chicken legs while others do not. What's important is the overall flavor which points to care taken with this classic dish. Hopefully BG can retain control on prices which is impacting many Thai restaurants.

Very good food and service. I believe they are very well priced and have been a customer for several years. Wes is my favorite employee and always greets me with a smile and laughs at my jokes. I recommend them to everyone!

Yummy!! Very cute spot in Rockville that feels like you've stepped into a little haven of Thailand. Amazing art all over the walls and dope decor! Went to lunch with a mentor - he loves this place and has had lots of options on the menu so he took me today and it did not disappoint. We got the crab dumplings and fried fish cakes to start - crab dumplings were delicious, fried fish cakes were yummy but the texture was a little weird to me. Would get both again but the dumplings were the winner for starters for me. the fish cakes reminded me of a salmon or tuna croquet just got as crispy. He got the mussels pancake and I got the fried tilapia off the secret Thai menu - my tilapia was AMAZING, two nice size pieces of fish, crispy but not overly fried. The sauce was sweet and spicy with the veggies and rice - reminded me of tamarind chicken. Staff are polite and provide good recommendations - no complaints at all. I also got an iced Thai green tea - not as sweet as other places which I liked! (Sorry for the lack of pictures!$

I love this place so much. The food is absolutely delicious. Thai is my absolute favorite food and I've been lucky enough to have gone there a few times to try the cuisine from the source so I am a hard judge to impress. With that being said, this place checks all the boxes. Complex flavors and varied spice levels make this place authentic. It's often busy and that doesn't matter because you can get carry out. It also is decorated with a great mural on the wall that is vibrant and colorful. We often get different things off the menu some of our favorites are Panang Curry, Pad Se Ew, Drunken Fried Rice and Mango sticky rice. Don't forget to get a Thai Iced - they even have Thai Iced Tea IPA called Muay Thai IPA. Please do try this place as I can't recommend it enough.

Super cute Thai restaurant in Rockville we stumbled into! The art on the walls was very cute & street vibey. The service was quick & nice. The food was definitely on the higher side of the scale for Thai restaurants in the area! The pad thai was seasoned perfectly & the I was a huge fan of the noodles used!! They were very skinny and almost a little gummy in consistency, but they worked great! The larb was good, standard. I wish it would have been a tad bit spicier/ heavily seasoned. But it was good nonetheless. The khao soy was delicious! I can definitely see why it was a fan favorite! The flavors were very aromatic! The roti curry was delicious also! I just wish there was more roti! You run out of roti so fast for the amount of curry they give. The thai tea was a little but watery in my opinion, but nothing crazy. Overall a good place to stop in & try!

Oh my gosh Bangkok Garden of my dreams! I am so full of the most delicious Thai foods I've eaten in years I loved everything I ate here ! Everything was on point, full of flavor/different from other versions I ever tried before: -papaya salad -Chicken rice don't forget the hoisin-like sauce complete with seaweed soup -pork barbecue sticks don't forget the sauce -love this one: Rad Na / Lad Na (like pad see ew noodles with gravy on it) -Coconut ice cream with sticky rice -Fresh Mango with sticky rice -Thai iced tea It's kiss my closed fingers delicious!

When I would like to have Authentic or local street Thai food, they are one of the Thai Restaurants that pop up on my list. I had visited Bangkok Garden in Wintergreen Plaza, Rockville, MD a few times in the past. Their menu is quite interesting and different from another standard Thai restaurant around my area. The flavor pretty close to real Thai dish. However, after I haven't been there for a while, I went back to the restaurant recently, food is still in good level but isn't as great as before. I hope they can keep their quality more consistency. Other than that; the decoration and atmosphere is quite casual like mostly restaurants in Thailand with a little tiny dining room. Service is ok. Value (price and portion) seem a little pricey. Location is convenient - plenty free parking spots.
